On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received by a Redroad Tour guide who will take you to your hotel for the night.
In the morning you will take a 4- hour walking tour of the city of Kampala. You will get to experience first-hand, the hustle and bustle this city has become known for. You will also get to do some souvenir shopping at one of the craft markets in town.

Set-off early for a 5-hour drive to Murchison falls national park. You will make a short stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking. In the afternoon, you will go for your first game drive. Murchison falls national park is endowed with a variety of African wildlife such as Elephants, buffalos, lions, giraffes and many more. This exciting game drive involves scanning through the park in such of these magnificent animals.

Set off before dawn for another 3-hours game drive adventure. This is another opportunity to encounter and observe African wildlife in their natural habitat. You will have the rest of the morning to enjoy your lodge. In the afternoon, you will head out on a boat along the Victoria Nile. This part of the Nile is home to hundreds of Hippos and Crocodiles, and also attracts an array of other animals such as elephants and buffalos.

Take a 7 hours’ drive to the Rwenzori region. This is famous for the rift valley and the majestic Rwenzori mountains also known as the mountains of the moon. After you check in to your lodge, you may relax and enjoy the lodge or you may choose from a number of activities available to do.

Set off early morning to Kibale Forest, home to the highest density of primates in East Africa, for your chimpanzee tracking expedition. This 4-hour adventure takes you up close to one of the Chimpanzee families and you will spend an hour observing their fascinating lifestyle.
After lunch, you will take a village walk. Walking the village trails is a great way of experiencing and learning about Ugandan culture. The trails pass through plantations, small towns and various crater lakes.

The next morning drive to Queen Elizabeth national park. This iconic park is located on the floor of the rift valley – a 40km wide flat stretch that lies in between the Rwenzori mountains and the highlands of western Uganda. It’s this stretch that a number of wildlife call home.
You will take a boat tour on the Kazinga channel. The channel is a bustling hub of wildlife activity. The channel is home to hundreds of Hippos, Crocodile and numerous species of birds, and also boasts Elephants and buffalos as regular visitors.

We will take an early morning drive to the southern part of the park known as Ishasha. This region is famous for the rare tree climbing lions, however it also boasts of other African wildlife such as big herds of elephants and Topis. You will spend the afternoon on a game drive discovering these savannah plains.

The trip to Bwindi impenetrable forest is a 3-hour scenic drive with impressive views and friendly communities. You will be climbing up from the low savannah plains to the mountains that are home to the gorillas.

On this day you will be trekking through the forest in search of one of the gorilla families. This thrilling experience will get you up close to the gorillas and you will have an hour with them before heading out of the forest.

You will take a 2-hours’ drive south to Lake Bunyonyi (meaning “the place of birds”). This picturesque lake is nestled in the volcanic hills of the Kigezi region. It is also a popular bird sanctuary as the meaning of its name suggests. You will spend the afternoon resting at the lodge. You can also take a canoe trekking tour of the lake and its surroundings at your request.

You will embark on a 4 hours’ scenic drive through the gorilla highlands, making stops at various view points on your way to Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. On this route discover impressive views of volcanic lakes and a series of volcanic mountains popularly known as the Virunga mountains.
