A trip to the Masai Mara Game Reserve is a must for any visitor or resident of Kenya. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is Kenya’s signature park and is world renown for its vast and diverse wildlife and the yearly great migration that has come to be referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. This trip will take you on a road adventure of the savannah, woodland plains in search of the Mara’s inhabitants. Not just the wildlife but also the Maasai people that call the reserve their homeland.
Set off early morning from your hotel in Nairobi to the Masai Mara. Enjoy the spectacular views as you journey through the Great rift valley. Check into your camp and take a game drive in the afternoon with hopes of sighting the Big 5. The Masai Mara has diverse range of wildlife. With regular sightings of wildebeest, zebras, lions, hyenas and giraffes.
Wakeup at dawn and head out for another drive. Delve deeper into the park with hopes of seeing some of the species you might not have seen on yesterday’s drive. Patiently scour the plains and tree-fringed rivers for species you may have missed.
Set off in the morning and head back to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your hotel/residence.
