
This tour is for those wanting to add a safari to their gorilla trekking adventure. After your gorilla trekking experience, head to Queen Elizabeth a game reserve famous for tree climbing lions and big herds of elephants.
Depart from accommodation in Kampala for Bwindi National Park at 6am. This is a 10-hour drive. During the drive, you will make a couple of stops to stretch your legs and have lunch.
Set off from the lodge at 7:30am and head to the Park headquarters for a briefing at 8am.

Gorilla trekking
This is a full day activity. The lodge will provide a packed lunch. When you finally encounter the Gorillas, you have one hour with them before you head back to your starting point. Visit Gorilla Trekking for details on what you will need to prepare for this expedition.
Set off from the lodge at 8am and head to Queen Elizabeth national Park. It takes approximately 3 hours to get to your destination.

At 4pm, you will go for an evening game drive. This is a 3-hour game viewing expedition. With the guidance of a game ranger, you will find a wide range of African wildlife, crater lakes and spectacular scenery.

This morning game drive starts in the morning just before dawn at 6am. Breakfast will be served before departure.
You will set off from the lodge at 9am for a seven-hour drive back to your accommodation in Kampala.
