Payment Methods

  • A 50% deposit is needed to confirm your booking.
  • Full payment must be made 30 days before departure.

Cancellation and Refunds

The cancellation policies outlined below take into consideration the costs Redroad Tours incurs long before individuals or groups depart. Notice of cancellation from a Redroad Tours’ safari/trip will only be accepted from the traveler, travel agent, his or her legal guardian, or the tour Leader.

The date of cancellation will be determined by the date on which Redroad receives notice. Cancellation refunds can only be made to the person whose name appears on the account; payments cannot be transferred to another account. In order to qualify for refunds in accordance with Redroad Tours’ standard cancellation policy, all payments must be received on time.

91 days or more prior to departure: Full refund less a $50 administrative fee, and all non-refundable fees.
91 days or more prior to departure: 100% full refund less all non-refundable fees.
90 to 61 days prior to departure: 50% of package price is non-refundable
90 days or less prior to departure: Replacements can no longer be accepted and Redroad Tours’ standard cancellation policy will apply.
60 to 31 days prior to departure: 75% of package price is non-refundable.
30 or less, prior to departure: No refund will be issued.

Cancellation with replacement refers to a traveler who cancels but finds a replacement for the same program. The replacement’s enrollment form must be submitted at the same time as the notification of cancellation.

Non-refundable fees are any fees imposed by the government, bank, airlines, and others, such as gorilla and chimp permit fees, airline tickets that can no longer be reclaimed or transferred.

Please note the following:

No partial refunds will be given for unused meals, hotel rooms, activities, airport transfers, etc., for any reason whatsoever.

Redroad Tours reserves the right to increase the tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, currency fluctuations, park fee increases, fuel surcharges, taxes, etc. Redroad Tours reserves the right to alter the tour without notice.

Redroad Tours is not responsible for expenses incurred by trip members in preparing for the trip (e.g., visa fees, immunizations, insurance, equipment, etc.) or for any necessary additional travel arrangements should you depart from home before the departure date. Accommodations are subject to change.
