Red Road Tours provides advise and pre departure information to  you, it is your responsibility to obtain all necessary travel documents, such as visa, work  permits etc.

You are responsible for ensuring your travel documents are complete and up to date for  your travel. Red Road Tours cannot accept the responsibility if entry is denied to a  country due to incorrect visa or travel documents.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory for all participants of Red Road Tours. All participants  need to buy full comprehensive medical insurance for their time of stay in our project. It  is your sole responsibility to purchase your own travel insurance.

Please ask us for details at reservations@redroadtours.com for more details on how to  buy Insurance from Red Road Tours. Refund Policy

Red Road Tours provides highly affordable programs and our booking fee is amongst the  lowest, as a result we do not provide a complete refund policy. Please read the details of  booking and program fee payments below.

Booking Fee

A non-refundable deposit herein referred to as a “booking fee” (currently USD 200) will  be required before we can confirm each booking. Payment of this fee allows us to block  dates for project placement and accommodation for each participant and is non refundable under all circumstances. A volunteer’s placement on a program cannot be confirmed until the booking fee has  been paid in full.

Under the rare instance where Red Road Tours is not able to accept you in the  program, we would be refunding you the booking fee less $50 administration charges.

Program Fee

You will find the complete program costs on each program page on the website or one  of our program brochures. Red Road Tours reserves the right to change the program fee  anytime without any prior information. Full payment of the program fee is due 30 days  from your program start date, if you fail to make full payment before this time Red Road  Tours has the right to cancel your program.

The payment of program fees does not guarantee the exact program selected. In case  we are unable to offer you placement in the exact program and dates requested, we will  work with you to provide acceptable alternatives, failing which we will arrange for a  refund if appropriate. As with all volunteering in developing countries, it is important that  participants remain flexible as things can change on short notice. Staff shortages, school  and public holidays, etc. may require the participants to take part in alternative projects  from time to time.

Registration fees and program fees are not transferrable to other persons.
