Amboseli is such a charming safari destination, set against the backdrop of the Kilimanjaro and known for the big herds of elephants roaming its plains, making for an exciting and unique game viewing experience. This tour of Amboseli makes for a quality classic safari in itself, with the park also boasting the big 5 and a number of other wildlife. However, it also makes a great addition to your visit of the Masai Mara offering a different game viewing experience.
Set off early morning from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park. This is a 6 hour- drive. After checking in to your lodge, take an afternoon game drive. Roam the dry plains on your 4×4 safari vehicle and encounter a variety of wildlife species including the big 5 and other wildlife such as cheetahs, Maasai Giraffe and Lesser Kudu.
Get up early at dawn and head out for another safari drive, this time in search of the species you may have not seen on your previous drive. Some nocturnal animals are still active on the morning drive and you may be fortunate to find some on your drive. Head back to the lodge for lunch or opt for a bush lunch, before continuing with your drive in the afternoon.
Set off in the morning and head back to Nairobi. You will be dropped back to your hotel/residence.
